I have photographed Sarah three times now, and each time her makeup has been flawless.  I was in awe when she said she did it herself.  This time I decided to ask her for a few makeup tips and tricks to help other seniors get camera ready for their senior portraits.  Scroll down to see Sarah’s tips – I know I will be trying her mascara suggestion!!

Who inspires your makeup look?
I get a lot of my makeup inspiration from Blake Lively because we have similar eyes and I love how her makeup always looks super natural and fresh.

What are your favorite resources for learning how to do your own makeup?
I watch a LOT of makeup related videos on YouTube in my free time.

Top 3 favorite makeup products?
Rimmel Stay Matte Setting Powder- keeps me from getting shiny throughout the day and makes my makeup last FOREVER.

Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray- keeps my makeup looking fresh all day

NYX Micro Brow Pencil- makes filling in my eyebrows super easy!!

Top 3 favorite tips?
1. Apply bottom mascara before top mascara so you don’t risk getting any mascara on your eyelids (and ruining any eyeshadow you applied)
2.  Highlight the inner corners of your eyes with a brighter eyeshadow to make your eyes pop
3. Always match your foundation color to your neck, not just your face, it will make it look seamless and natural!

Favorite place to shop for makeup?
Ulta Beauty

Can’t live without product?
L’Oréal Telescopic Mascara- I alway get asked if I’m wearing false lashes whenever I wear this mascara!!

Thank you Sarah, for these helpful tips!
