As we begin to re-open slowly here in NC, I thought it would be a good time to implement and share these new Covid 19 policies in an effort to keep you safe and healthy! I am looking forward to being able to have sessions again and celebrate all of the seniors who have had so many changes to their senior year. According to the Governor’s latest address, I can resume photo sessions as of May 8th, so please get in touch if you need to schedule your senior portrait session.
Getting on the calendar now is a good idea, because I do anticipate being busy this spring/summer with existing Class of 2020 and early Class of 2021 sessions, since we don’t know what the upcoming fall will hold for us.
Speaking of timelines, with the craziness of this year, I say if you still want to book your senior portrait session and send out grad announcements during the summer, go ahead! Your friends and family will understand why they are getting them later than usual and will still want to celebrate you!!
Many of the favorite shooting spots are closed, so we may need to get creative about our locations.
As of right now, hair and makeup stylists aren’t allowed to open back up yet, so we will not be scheduling sessions that include hair and makeup.
All shoots will take place outside to utilize the fresh air and cut down on spreading germs. I will stay 6 feet away at all times and will avoid personal contact. This includes hugs, touching hair or clothing, adjusting straps, etc. If moms are at sessions, I will ask you to adjust these things!
I will use hand sanitizer and have some available to you. I will have a mask with me and if you prefer that I wear it, just let me know.
Please disclose if you or anyone you’ve come in contact with is sick or has any symptoms such as fever, coughing, sore throat, etc. – within 36 hours of your scheduled photo shoot. We will be extra cautious and reschedule your shoot. I will extend the same courtesy to you.
Viewing and ordering sessions will now be held online. Rather than meeting in your home to view your images for the first time, we will set up a Zoom meeting for you to see your images and place your order. You will still receive the same level of service and I will guide you through the process just as if we were together. Once your order arrives, I will deliver it you personally- with contactless porch delivery.
