Short answer – YES!
Long answer- YES! You’ve worked hard the past few years to accomplish this goal- and it deserves to celebrated! It deserves to be recognized and commemorated!
Here are 3 good reasons to commemorate this milestone with a college grad photoshoot:
1. You have changed a lot over these last few years! College provides new experiences and is a huge time of growth. You find out who you are, what you stand for, and what you’re going to do for the rest of your life. This is such a wonderful time to document!
2. You may need head shots for your resumes & job opportunities. Our world is only becoming more and more visual as the years pass. More companies are requesting head shots be submitted along with resumes and you should have one that is professional, clean and memorable.
3. You may need college announcements & graduation photos. Most college seniors send out announcements to their friends and family members and having a college senior session would make that easy!

Michelle graduated from High Point University and wanted to celebrate all of her hard work with a photoshoot! During our planning conversations and emails, we discussed the things that were important to show. Of course, we’d get the individual shots – in her cap and gown, some just with her cap and cords, some in front of the building where she spent the most time and various other picture perfect spots on campus. High Point University has a BEAUTIFUL campus, so that part was easy.
It was also important to Michelle to include her family in some of her pictures. They have been her biggest supporters throughout her college years and they deserve some of the recognition too!
And last but not least, Michelle also wanted to include her boyfriend and her ZTA sisters and friends. Those were some fun celebratory shots!! They all become like your family when you spend so much time on campus and you’ll want to be able to look back at these pictures with them!
Michelle may have left HPU as an undergrad, but she has gone back to get her grad degree. Best of luck, Michelle!
And last but not least, Michelle ordered some beautiful products after it was all said and done. She ordered an album for each grandmother, and one for the family (so 3 albums total, but only 2 photographed at the time), in addition to a storyboard, graduation announcements and some prints!
