This is Ryley! Ryley is a senior this year at Holly Springs High School and is also on the Class of 2024 Senior Model Team!! I love being able to work with the senior team before their actual senior session because it makes us so much more comfortable with each other- and it shows! What are you thinking about majoring in?
Medical Sonography
Do you have a favorite quote that inspires you?
I’ve always gone by “ Start where you are. Use what you have. Do what you can.” I just think it’s important to not over stress anything and doing the best you can is what matters.
Favorite items in your closet
My lulu leggings, any basic tee, and any sweatshirt! But I also love any top that I can wear out or for like a party!

3 things you can’t live without:
My family/friends, My dogs, and soccer
What is the biggest obstacle you faced in high school? How did you overcome it?
I feel like the biggest obstacle I faced in high school was Covid. Freshman year was all online and that was scary. I didn’t know how to navigate high school normally until about sophomore year. I didn’t get to experience sporting events besides soccer but nobody but parents were allowed to cheer us on. It was hard making friends since everyone had their camera off and mics muted. I overcame the struggle by just being myself and adding people on social media and talking about assignments and trying to make the best out of it as much as I could. School Soccer starting back up really helped!
What are your interests and hobbies in your school, in your community or elsewhere? Do you work?
I have been playing soccer since I was 3years old! As of right now I plan on playing collegiate soccer but i’m still deciding. I play club and high school soccer, i’ve been on varsity since freshman year! For school not only do I play soccer but i’m also part of student council and purple craze. For club soccer we like to go work with the Miracle League which is so fun and a great experience. I work at a cookie dough shop in Cary! I’ve been working their for a couple months and it’s so much fun. It’s definitely tricky balancing everything but so far it’s been great!
