The arboretum is one the most visually interesting places to shoot in Raleigh, so I was thrilled when Susannah + Markus’s mom suggested it for their photo session. It was a warm, golden morning and we walked the grounds seeking out the next beautiful spot. The dragon was especially cool to both kids. We’ve been neighbors for the past 6 years, so I have seen these kids grow up from little kids to big kids who now play with my little kids. Susannah is sweet, and patient, and she gave me lots of secret smiles when her mom wasn’t around ;). Markus is full of sunshine and laughter and wonder. Watching kids grow and change into little people will never get old for me. These two little people are pretty cool.
