Before I have any outdoor session, even if I’ve shot there before, I always go check out the location. I love a good plan and this allows me to scope out the area and light before I meet my clients for a session. My girls are always with me and usually enjoy these scouting sessions as well! They have been to almost every park in Wake County. I have joked (but could provide pictures) that my 4 year old has been photographed in almost every spot I’ve shot my actual clients! In preparation for my upcoming mini sessions this Sunday at Lake Crabtree, we spent a glorious fall afternoon cloud gazing, leaf collecting, and flower picking.
I still have a few spots available for my fall mini sessions this Sunday, so email me if you’d like to reserve a spot. Consider it holiday shopping and quality family time all in one!
Continuing on with our fall bucket list, we crossed #3 off the list by making some fall art! Thanks to Elliott and Melinda for hosting and coming up with these awesome beaded spiders and marshmellow ghouls (which were eaten more than glued) (and some were glued and then eaten, but thats ok, right?) We are thankful to have such crafty friends! 🙂
Happy fall, lovelies! How is your fall bucket list coming along?
