The short answer- probably! The other day I was perusing the website of a very cute store that I am interested in visting (it is in another state) while vacationing there. I was really enjoying seeing the products they sell, the inside of the shop, the workshops they sometimes offer- then I clicked on the about page and realized the owner had a familiar name- but she didn’t look anything like the person I had recently been introduced to! This picture showed a woman with long, red hair and the woman I met had a shoulder length blonde bob. I was not convinced that they were even the same person (they were)!
If your last photo was taken and you’ve recently drastically changed your appearance- you need to update your headshots!
If your photo has someone else cropped out of it- you need to get your very own beautiful buisness portaits!
If your photo is low quality or looks unprofessional- invest in yourself and hire a professional!
The photo of you on your website is often the first impression that a potential client may get of you, so make sure that what they see is how you would like to be represented.
