A great branding session involves careful planning, clear communication, and a focus on capturing images that authentically represent your brand.
Want to make the most of your branding session? Here are a few ways we will work together to do that!
- What are your goals? What message do you want the photos to convey? Are you looking to update your headshots, show you doing what you do in your business, highlight a product, or all of the above? Having a clear objective guides the entire session.
- The Questionnaire: I send an in depth questionnaire to each and every client. This will get you thinking about your needs and will help me see what you are looking for and how we can best achieve that.
- The Discovery Call: This is where we will discuss your brand, your ideal clients, and the specific shots you’re looking for. This will ensure that we are on the same page and helps me tailor the session to your needs.
- Location and Setting: We will discuss location options to make sure that we have you in the right place for your brand photos! Whether it’s your office space, an outdoor environment, or a studio setup, the backdrop should complement your brand identity and message.
- Wardrobe and Styling: What you wear matters! First, if you feel confident in what you are wearing it will show (and vice versa). If you have brand colors you may choose to wear them. You will want to have a business look and a business casual look- but it all depends on your business! If you are a yoga instructor- your yoga clothes will make sense in some photos! If you are an artist and we are getting images of you painting, wear clothes that you may paint it (they still need to be a little polished though 🙂
- Brand Elements and Props: Incorporate brand elements and props into the session. This could include company signage, products, or any distinctive features that represent your brand. These elements can add depth and authenticity to the photos.
- Include your team: Involve your team members in the branding session. Candid shots of employees at work or engaging in team activities can humanize your brand and create a more relatable image for your audience.
- Variety of Shots: We will be sure to get a variety of shots to provide flexibility in how you use the images across different platforms. This variety may include group shots, individual portraits, action shots, and close-ups to create a well-rounded collection.
- Timely Delivery: Be clear if you have specific timelines. My post production turnaround is pretty fast!
By working and planning together, we can create a branding session that produces beautiful new images that you are excited to share produces and will authentically represent your brand.
