“As a girl, senior photos are probably the most exciting thing that we are able to have fun and be ourselves with. Most seniors look for individuality, and photos that will reflect how your high school experience went. You are able to turn every negative into a positive. Senior photos should reflect you, and your outlook after leaving high school.”
I love that Lexi looked at senior photos this way even before she had her senior session. She was on the ’21 Senior Model Team and I saw her grow and change throughout the year. At the beginning, she was a little nervous and apprehensive about being in front of the camera. By the end of her senior year, after all of the Senior Model Team shoots and her own senior portrait session, she was so much more comforatbale in front of the camera. She knew her angles, which poses she liked and how to find good light. She also did a fantastic job doing her own makeup!! I always recommend professional makeup to those who aren’t comfortable doing it themselves, but Lexi knew what she wanted and how to get that look!
Getting to spend a full year with the girls on the team is such a wonderful perk for me, (and for them ;)! We really get to know each other and build relationships. But that doesn’t mean you have to be on the team to have a great senior session. If you aren’t on the team, you will also get the whole experience of a senior session that is custom and unique to you! I will prep you on what to wear, talk about different hair and makeup ideas and help you choose the perfect location for your session.
