Lucy is going to be in the upcoming NCSU Art2Wear fashion show in April. Art2Wear (A2W) is celebrating its 14th year as a student organized runway show that presents fashion, costume, and wearable sculpture created by the students of the NC State University College of Design and College of Textiles. This annual event hosted by the NC State College of Design, in collaboration with the College of Textiles, attracts an audience of 4,000 and growing each year
We went to Leazar Hall to do her first fitting with Morgan Cox last weekend. Morgan will be the first children’s designer to ever show in the fashion show! Her collection is inspired by the secret garden, so lots of whimsy, animals and nature. Lucy’s outfit is the “fawn” and she couldn’t be more excited!
Morgan showed us around the studio, and we got to peek at the workspaces of other students. I love looking at what inspires others and how they create.
We also enjoyed the beautiful day around campus; there are so many cool things for these two little girls to look at and wonder (and wander) about…
