Meet Gigi! We had a beautiful spring session that started among the colorful blooms at the Raleigh Rose Garden and finished in the tall grass field in the NCMA park! Learn all about Gigi below, in her own words!
What would you tell those entering the grade you just left?
I would tell them not to bite off too much their senior year. You want to enjoy the experience, not be overwhelmed all the time. Try to enjoy all the “lasts” and savor the moments of senior year.
What are your interests and hobbies in your school, in your community or elsewhere?
I am very active in my school – senior class & student body president, captain of the dance team, editor of the yearbook, and involved in the leadership of several other clubs. I love being involved and engaged in what’s going on.
How would your best friends describe you?
loyal, kind, smiley, hardworking, responsible
Favorite way to spend an afternoon?
Getting Starbucks or ice cream, hanging out with friends, enjoying the outdoors
When I grow up, I want to be…
I have no clue!! I love history and want to help people. I’m hoping to figure it out soon!
Something I wish I were better at:
Not worrying so much about everything
Describe your dream session in 3 words:
sunset; nature; girly
What are you MOST excited about for life AFTER high school?
I am hoping to have a little more control over my schedule so I can balance my life a little better. I am going to UNC-Chapel Hill and I can’t wait to be a Tarheel. I am looking forward to new friendships, lots of social opportunities, and embracing all that college has to offer.
