There are some locations I could photograph over and over again, and Duke Gardens is definitely one of them. From tree-lined walkways and colorful gardens to quiet corners and golden evening light, it has so much variety that every session can feel different. It’s one of those places that photographs beautifully in every season and one I’ll never get tired of recommending. It was the perfect setting for Adair’s senior session.
Since Adair was a member of the 627 Photography Senior Model Team, we’d already spent the year creating together before her senior session ever arrived. Watching that confidence build over time is one of my favorite parts of the experience. By the time we met at Duke Gardens, she wasn’t thinking about poses or what to do next, she was simply soaking in the moment, and those genuine, relaxed moments are what make senior portraits feel so timeless.
Adair is a recent grad from Harnett Central High School and this fall she’ll be heading to East Carolina University to pursue nursing. I have no doubt she’s going to make a great nurse, and I can’t wait to see where this next chapter takes her.
