Ben is a senior this year at Cary Academy. He is super smart, kind, and has a big heart for helping others.
His mom and I began planning his session a good two months before our actual shoot date. Through each of our conversations I learned more and more about Ben and we used the info to plan the perfect session for Ben. We shot around downtown Raleigh and at the Capital Building to tie in his passion for government and social sciences. He is very involved on the debate team and showed up in this sharp blue suit – he said he wears suits often on the debate team. You can tell- he wore it with a casual confidence.
He has been in jazz band since 6th grade (!) and brought his trumpet for a few shots. I love the iconic look of these images with Fayetteveille street behind him.
We ended our session at the WRAL Azalea gardens for a more casual look. We were also able to fit in a few portraits with his whole family – they had been his cheerleaders throughout our session. I love when I leave a session knowing we’ve made not only beautiful portraits but also really fun memories!
