Anna Claire’s senior session was all about capturing simple, beautiful moments in some of Raleigh’s most scenic spots. This Cardinal Gibbons High School senior wanted a natural, relaxed feel for her photos, and that’s exactly what we created.
Waterfalls & Wildflowers
We started the session at a waterfall! Anna Claire knew she wanted to incorporate water into her senior pictures, and this was the perfect spot! We could get pretty pictures in front of the waterfall, and some fun in the water shots as well. We also took advantage of a nearby patch of wildflowers to bring in a bit of color and texture to her photos.
Golden Hour at the NCMA Park
Next, we headed to the NCMA Park. This park has so many beautiful spots and the golden hour light is the best here!
Getting to Know Anna Claire
Anna Claire has a quiet confidence and unique interests that made this session so special. She plays field hockey, enjoys building Legos, and is a big fan of horror movies. She also loves Disney World and has some seriously adventurous bucket list goals—going back to Japan, skydiving, and even going to space one day!
A Team Effort
Her mom was such a huge help throughout the shoot, assisting with quick outfit changes, accessories, and little details to make sure everything looked perfect. We also had on-site hair and makeup, allowing for quick touch ups and subtle hair changes that gave variety to her final portraits.
