This is Abby! Abby is a senior at Holly Springs High School and is also on the ’24 Senior Model Team. I have loved getting to know Abby this past year during our team shoots. It was fun to see her vision for her senior portrait session and figure out how we could work together to give her exactly the session she wanted! Abby wanted to split her session between the studio and the park to get two very different vibes! Learn more about Abby below~
What would you tell those entering the grade you just left?
Being a junior, you definitely feel a lot older and college starts to feel super close. I think it’s important to enjoy the small and cliche part of high school, because they’re fun and special to look back on.
What is the biggest obstacle you faced in high school? How did you overcome it?
The biggest obstacle I face in high school was experiencing quarantine because of covid, and having Lyme disease. Both were very isolating, and I overcame it by having good friends, and getting involved in my school when it was finally allowed again!
List 3-5 things on your bucket list
Some things on my bucket list include going to Hawaii, zip lining in a scenic area, and winning an art contest!
Do you have a favorite quote that inspires you?
I like the quote, “I am a free spirit. Some don’t like that, but that’s who I am,” by Princess Diana.
Favorite place on Earth?
My favorite place on Earth is either Holden Beach, or Wintergreen, Virginia. I have been going to both for a long time, Wintergreen for snowboarding, and both have become a second home.
3 things you can’t live without:
I can’t live without my friends, family, and my phone because I love to always keep pictures of things I do!
