Avery was a senior at Saint Mary’s School in Raleigh and was also on the ’21 Senior Model Team this year. Throughout the past year, I have loved getting to know her and work with her at every Senior Model Team shoot.
Avery knew she wanted the freedom and creativity to plan her own senior portrait session and have it reflect WHO she is, instead of just what she looks like right now. Here is what she had to say about the photos that will appear in the yearbook.
“Senior photos are very important to my friends and I since we go to an all girls school and most of the pictures going into the yearbook are not our favorites. In a Saint Mary’s photoshoot you do not get a lot of options to where or what you can do since it must stay on campus.”
She did a great job at choosing outfits that would work well with her location, the NCMA, for a fun and modern feel! Avery doesn’t usually wear a lot of makeup on a daily basis so she did ask hair and makeup artist, Michelle Clark for help and guidance to get just the right look. She knew she wanted to stay natural, but just look a little more polished and glam.
