Beth recently graduated from NC School of Science and Math, and headed to Denmark to study shortly after! I’d say she is already knocking a few items off her bucket list (at least the travel part!) We enjoyed our time together with her mom, Corrie, and among the flowers at WRAL Azalea Garden.

How would your best friends describe you?
My best friends all describe me as a mom. They know that I am responsible, caring, and kind, and that I am always there for them no matter what they’re going through. For most of them, I’m the first person they come to whenever they have big news, whether it’s good or bad.
What do you think makes a woman strong? What do you think makes a woman beautiful?
I think what makes a woman strong and beautiful is whatever she is passionate about. Seeing women pursue their dreams regardless of the obstacles they face and setting a good example for girls and women everywhere is what makes them strong. Working towards their own goals despite what others think makes them beautiful.
List 3-5 things that are on your bucket list
Travel to as many different countries as possible, go hangliding in the mountains, go paragliding, fall in love, find my purpose
Do you have a favorite quote that inspires you?
“Courage is not the absence of fear, but rather the knowledge that something is more important than fear. The brave may not live forever, but the cautious do not live at all.”
