David and I became fast friends when he was just 4 years old. His mom and I were in photography school together and she’d bring him into the darkroom and lab with her when she needed a little more time at school.
He has maintained his sweetness and humor that he had as a little boy, but now he has also acquired the maturity and thoughtfulness of a man. I know his mom wanted this session to happen a little more than he did, but he never acted that way. He’s so patient and easy going and did almost everything we asked of him (climbing a tree branch over the pond did not happen!)
