When deciding what to wear for your family portrait session, remember – you want to be cute, comfortable and confident.  Confidence is beauty!
Keep your location in mind. You can wear a sun dress in a field, or a cocktail dress downtown! Choose colors that will compliment your background. Pops of color look great against a lush, green setting.

Use color, try on some fun accessories, and play with textures. Throwing on a scarf or jacket can change your whole look. Add layers to your outfit, if you want to add versatility.

Try to coordinate outfits, but not match. Choose complimentary colors, or use different shades of the same color. Throw in a few patterns to break up colors.

Let your personality shine through, and choose things that highlight your best features.  Let the kids have a say in their outfits, and they will feel more comfortable and happy too.  And it will show!
