After 10 years in this business, I have learned lots of valuable lessons! Some lessons were earned through experience and some were learned through lots of trial and error. These lessons have helped me understand what tuly works best for my clients and allows us to have the best (and smoothest) experience possible!
Here are 3 secrets to a successful senior session-
1. Pre-session prep is everything: I promise, I give these session prep resources for a reason: to make your session day easy and stress free! You may only do this once, but I’ve helped hundreds of seniors over the past 10 years! My session prep guides have tried and true tips to having the best senior session possible, so make sure to read over all the resources to help you be ready for your big session day!
2. Keep the edits organic: Trusting someone to take your portraits can be difficult. When you book your session with me you can rest easy – your images are bold, colorful and consistent without making you look plastic or unnatural. Your images will be a true reflection of your style, your personality, and who you really are.
3. Don’t stop at digital files: Do yourself a favor and at the very least, print your session images! You never know what will happen with technology and printing your images will be your favorite way to view them! Bonus points if you get a beautiful album or wall showcase that you’ll be able to look at for years to come!
