Alyssa’s senior session was back in the spring this year before she graduated from Apex High in June. She did a great job planning her session and really maximized her time with a variety of outifts, locations and overall LOOKS.
Here are 4 helpful tips to choose your outfits for your senior session~
- Choose a variety in the types of outfits. Not only will this give you different looks, but it allows for different posing. Pants are great for sitting, dresses are great twirling, etc.
- Choose a variety of colors. Play up the colors look great with your skintone! (Not sure what colors work best on you? Click here to download my new guide!)
- Choose a variety of styles. You can have a dressier outfit, a casual outfit, one you know your parents and grandparents will love, your sports uniform, etc. Again, we are looking for a variety of different looks in your session.
- And last, be YOU. You want to be the most polished version of yourself, but you will still look like you and feel comfortable!
Alyssa was on the Senior Model Team this past year and brought positivity and a stylish flair to any shoot she attended. During her own senior portait session she really impressed me with her ability to find natural poses for herself and she gave me some good tips for Instagram stories.
