Zachary // Planning A Senior Guy’s Portrait Session

Planning a senior portrait session can be a little bit of a process.  We discuss location options, outfits, possible dates/times, interests, etc.  I send a detailed questionnaire for you to fill out so I can get to know you and help make suggestions or your session.  I ask if there are hobbies, pets, musical instruments- anything we can include to show who you are in this moment.  Usually I have most of these discussions with the seniors themselves, but occasionally I will work with a mom who knows her son so well and enjoys the planning process.  And I will admit, that the guys usually do it for their moms, but they also end up enjoying themselves!  It is easy to have fun when we can include things that he loves!!

Zachary’s mom and I had already worked together for his brother’s senior session (click here to see Ben’s session), so I knew she would do a great job planning his session too!  He loves the Hurricanes, and is an avid swimmer so we wanted to show both of those interests. We went to the PNC Arena and the pool – places he loves, so it was easy for him to enjoy himself!
