Our spring picnic photo shoot almost didn’t happen! It began raining as soon as we arrived, but instead of letting it ruin the afternoon, we kept going. The drizzle didn’t last long, and before we knew it, the girls were running through the field, laughing together, and making memories. It felt like a perfect reminder of senior year itself – you can’t control every little thing, but sometimes the unexpected moments end up being the best ones.
The picnic may have been Pinterest-worthy, but what made this shoot so fun wasn’t the flowers or the blankets – it was the girls!
By the time this spring picnic rolled around, it didn’t feel like I was photographing a group of seniors – it felt like I was documenting friends making memories together.
And that’s the part of the Senior Model Team that happens between the photos. The styled shoots and beautiful images are certainly a highlight, but the real magic is watching confidence grow, friendships deepen, and these girls cheer each other on through one of the biggest years of their lives.
