One of my favorite parts of senior photography is helping each senior create a session that feels completely like them. Peyton came into her senior session with a clear vision, and I loved helping her bring it to life. Inspired by the cozy, nature-filled feel of Taylor Swift’s evermore era, we combined beautiful scenery, her guitar, and all the variety Lake Crabtree has to offer to create a session that felt true to her.
We started in the wooded trails where Peyton brought her guitar, adding a personal touch to her photos. The forest setting created a beautiful, peaceful backdrop and gave us some of my favorite images from the evening. From there, we moved into the open grassy areas, and then ended by the beach in time to catch sunset.
Some seniors bring a location idea. Some bring outfit inspiration. Peyton brought a guitar and a clear vision for a session that felt completely like her and the result was one of my favorite Lake Crabtree sessions to date.
