Meet Morgan. Morgan is a nurse, educator, and now founder of Archer Review, a learning platform designed to help other nurses succeed. She recently reached out because she needed updated headshots and branding photos to use on her website, social media, and for promoting her upcoming podcast.
We used a studio space for Morgan’s session, which gave us the perfect backdrop for a variety of clean, approachable, and modern looks. As a Raleigh headshot photographer and Apex branding photographer, I love helping business owners and professionals feel confident in front of the camera — especially when they’re building something from the ground up like Morgan is.
Morgan had a few things she wanted to accomplish within her shoot. The first was updated headshots that look professional, approachable and polished. Next, she wanted detail shots of her education materials and her doing the things she does- working, teaching and connecting with others. And last, she needed all of these images to be usable across various platforms such as the website, any marketing they may do and their upcoming podcast launch.
She didn’t want to rely on stock images anymore to tell her story — and she doesn’t have to. These photos are authentic to her brand, and versatile enough to use in all the places she shows up online.
One of my favorite parts of branding photography is helping people feel at ease and actually enjoy the process. When you’re comfortable, it shows — and the result is a set of images that look like you, just your most confident and professional self.
