I first met Carlie when she stopped by her older brother, Jacob’s, senior session in downtown Apex back in 2018! It was great to catch up and see the whole family again- including Jak, Carlie’s sweet pup!

A pediatric occupational therapist and a mom.
What would you tell those entering the grade you just left?
Just keep pushing through it. It may be super stressful right now but you’re almost to senior year and then you’ll be done so don’t give up. Also appreciate all the fun school memories because it really does go by fast.
What’s on your bucket list?
Travel around Europe
Live in another country for a bit
Go to Iceland
See the Aurora Borealis
What are your interests and hobbies in your school, in your community or elsewhere?
My main hobby outside of school is babysitting and dog sitting. I love to babysit and have been doing it since I was in 6th grade. I’m in a few clubs and honor societies in school and did a summer volunteer program at UNC Rex Hospitals before senior year began.
What is your favorite senior memory so far?
Beating Athens in football
Favorite class in school?
English
What are you MOST excited about for life AFTER high school?
Going to college and not having to wake up at 6am
