Addison had never had professional photos taken before her senior session and by the end, she looked completely at home in front of the camera.

We started at WRAL Azalea Gardens, which was full of spring color for her April session. Addison brought a UNC Chapel Hill pennant to celebrate where she’s headed next. Including something connected to college is such an easy and fun way to personalize spring senior pictures!

For the second half of Addison’s session, we headed to the North Carolina Museum of Art Park. Moving from the colorful gardens to the open fields and modern architecture gave her gallery a completely different look without leaving Raleigh.

I really enjoyed getting to know Addison – from her entrepreneurial spirit to her love of cheetah print! While still in high school, she started her own business teaching children how to swim in her backyard pool. She plans to study business and media and journalism at UNC Chapel Hill, with the dream of working in marketing for major fashion brands.

She is also a big Chipotle fan – so much so that she wrote her college essay about what kind of burrito she would be. That might be one of my favorite college-essay topics I’ve heard!
