We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful weekend. We spent two afternoons of our Labor Day weekend on the beach. On the second day, we went to probably one of my favorite spots on earth, the first cove at Fort Fisher. It’s off the beaten path and without a lifeguard so usually there are fewer people. We happily soaked up more than our fair share of the last rays of summer!
